WHJACKL COMMUNICATIONS TO DEVELOP
MARIST STRATEGIC PLAN
Poughkeepsie, N.Y. – In a unique twist WHJACKL Communications is
using graduate students to communicate and attract more graduate students for
Marist College. WHJACKL Communications is the new blog that Team 503 is using
to team with Marist College to fulfill the college Strategic Initiative Plan
and attract and communicate with graduate students.
Team 503 is comprised of six
current Marist College graduate students studying communication. They have been
tasked by the highly respected college, located in New York, to use their
experiences as current graduate students to talk to potential graduate students
about their needs and concerns.
WHJACKL Communications created a
blog that develops the Marist College initiatives.
The initiatives are:

21. Systematically monitor trends in the
graduate student market and survey the student population to determine what
programs, delivery formats, services, and price points should be
enhanced,
developed, or modified
22. Strengthen student support services for
graduate students and make them more accessible, including online and on-campus
services

26. Develop community-based learning experiences
for graduate students including research, internships, and service learning
opportunities"

Hi Janice, in Mark's review of our team blog, he stated that we can't use Communications-R-Us. For the lack of anything better, I took the liberty and re-named our team blog as WKJAKL Communications. Best, Helen.
